The repair clinic is beginning to start up again post-pandemic! We are finding new ways for an efficient system. Thank you for understanding!
Do your clothes have holes or missing buttons?
Help reduce textile waste on campus! The Repair for Reuse Clinic is a FREE clothing repair service for UC Berkeley students, faculty, and staff. Drop off clothing with torn seams, holes, or missing buttons, and we’ll get them fixed!
The Repair Clinic is located in the ReUSE store on the first floor of MLK and is open during ReUSE’s general hours, which can be found at reuse.berkeley.edu/schedule.
Here is a list of fixes that the repair clinic can do:
- tears/holes
- patches
- buttons*
- zippers*
*We have a supply of buttons and zippers, but they may not match exactly—feel free to bring your own materials!
Interested in learning how to fix clothes yourself?
Join ReUSE as a Repair Committee member! ReUSE’s Repair Committee holds bi-weekly meetings where you can learn sewing skills and test your skills on clothes that need fixing.
The Repair Clinic will also be hosting free clothing repair workshops throughout the semester to teach students how to sew on patches and fix simple tears and holes.
