Each semester, ReUSE holds multiple events promoting the culture of reuse on campus. Some of our famous past events have included the Reader Giveaway and the Clothing Sale. However, after opening the store in MLK Student Union, we have stopped the Clothing Sale since the store acts as a permanent replacement for that. We’ve expanded to having promotional sales in our store throughout the semesters while still continuing Donation Collection during Move Out. We’ve also implemented DIY workshops in order to teach students how to be more thrifty and reuse their items more wisely. In the future, we hope to hold info sessions or even a decal to educate students about whats wrong with the current supply-demand chain and methods to improve it.
