Happy mid-October, and we hope everyone had a safe experience during the power outage last week! The store was closed from Wednesday to Friday, which means the schedule was cleared.
Event Announcements
1) General Meeting this Thursday, 10/17, at 6pm in the store! Since this is the last meeting before Halloween, we will be decorating the store and finding potential costumes to feature on our social media.
2) If you reached the first tier of Active Member Perks (10 hours volunteered by 9/30), you should have received an email about your reward treat at Yogurt Park! We’re extending the deadline for the next tier of rewards to the end of October, so volunteer at least 20 hours by 10/31 to be eligible for a thank-you treat in food/drink! And remember, if you volunteer 45 hours by the end of the semester, we’ll take you out for a pizza party at Sliver.
3) The Halloween Sale continues. All costumes are now 50% off when you explain your costume idea to the volunteer in the store.
If you’re a new volunteer or just looking for a refresher course, come to a Training Session! Training Sessions are mandatory before your first time volunteering. You can email us to learn about upcoming sessions, or schedule one at a time that works for you.
