To help divert reusable materials during this hectic move-out season, ReUSE is holding the annual Clothing & Reader Collection!
If you live in the residence halls, donate your readers and notebooks in the labeled blue bins on the ground floor of your building, near the elevator. Drop off your gently-used clothing in the labeled carts in your building’s ground floor lounge. Those of you living in Foothill or Clark Kerr may have different drop-off bin locations – look for signs in your unit for more information.
If you are an off-campus resident, donate your readers and notebooks in the labeled blue bins in the lobbies of Doe, Moffit and VLSB Libraries. We will be collecting through the end of finals week 5/11.
If you have large reusable items, such as furniture, you would like to divert from the landfill, contact the Bear-ly Used Drive (recycle@bsc.coop) for a free pick-up! Or post it on our online materials exchange (exchange.berkeley.edu) to give it away for free to others in the UC Berkeley community!
Thanks for helping to make move-out more sustainable!
